O Allah, I ask You for guidance by Your knowledge, and I seek strength by Your power, and I ask You from Your great bounty. You are able, and I am not able. You know, and I do not know. You are the Knower of the unseen.

O Allah, if You know that this matter is good for me in my religion, my life, and the outcome of my affair, then decree it for me, make it easy for me, and bless it for me. If You know that it is bad for me, then turn it away from me and turn me away from it, and decree for me what is better wherever it may be, then make me content with it.

اے اللہ! میں تیرے علم کے وسیلے سے تجھ سے خیر مانگتا ہوں، اور تیری قدرت کے وسیلے سے طاقت مانگتا ہوں، اور تیرے عظیم فضل کا سوال کرتا ہوں۔ بے شک تو قدرت رکھتا ہے اور میں قدرت نہیں رکھتا، تو جانتا ہے اور میں نہیں جانتا، اور تو غیبوں کو خوب جاننے والا ہے۔

اے اللہ! اگر یہ معاملہ میرے دین، میری دنیا اور میرے انجام کے اعتبار سے بہتر ہے تو اسے میرے لیے مقدر فرما، اسے میرے لیے آسان فرما، اور اس میں برکت عطا فرما۔ اور اگر یہ معاملہ میرے لیے برا ہے تو اسے مجھ سے دور فرما دے، مجھے بھی اس سے دور فرما دے، اور جہاں بھی بھلائی ہو اسے میرے لیے مقدر فرما، پھر مجھے اس پر راضی فرما دے۔
